Casa Holanda (or "Holland House"
in English) is a gorgeous, four-bedroom, full-service Bed and Breakfast.
Whether you need a comfortable, quiet place to stay close to the
airport for your first or last night in Costa Rica, or
while doing business in nearby San Jose, or need
a central location to enjoy the many sights in the Central Valley
with or without your car rental. We have transportation to and from the airport, garage
parking, wireless Internet access in your room, free local calls, cheap
International call access and delicious, home-cooked meals to accommodate
your stay.
Nestled among the coffee fields right outside of
the town of Heredia, Costa Rica, we are only minutes away from
downtown San Jose and the airport (10KM or 6.2 miles), and
for a safe, reliable, private ride from the airport to your room,
our in-house driver can pick you up for $30US or drop you off for $25US. This service is also available to
catch your return flight, or 24 hour taxis are available close-by.
After you're here, you can
exhale. Drop your bags in your room and check up on tours, get directions
or advice.
Or perhaps enjoy an intimate, candlelit
gourmet dinner . With the style
and grace of a big hotel but without the prices. Be serenaded with live
classical music from our in-house concert pianist.

Sit around our big, wooden table, family style, while wind chimes sing
in the Costa Rican night breeze. Chat and meet other guests, or local
Costa Rican friends who may drop by.
Or maybe enjoy a concert from one of our guests artist traveling
through.
The next day, awake to a glorious morning, and
come down to enjoy your complimentary all-you-can-eat
breakfast.
(And yes, we take
requests.)

So many options are available for you
like my all-day private tour to the majestic Volcano Poas and
exotic La Paz Waterfall. Or have a private tour to the capital city of San
Jose. Be guided on a safe excursion to learn about history and
architecture, attend museums and concerts, dine in fabulous restaurants,
or dance the night away in clubs. On early Sunday mornings,
accompany me to the farmers market where you will see many exotic fruits
and vegetables. We help you get on board with group tours
to rafting down whitewater rivers
, trekking the jungles of nearby
rainforests, spotting exotic animals, butterflies, and birds.

The Benefits of Being a Guest in
Somebody's Home
A unique experience in a Bed and
Breakfast , your stay at Casa Holanda
may be less anonymous, requiring more consideration from you of your
surroundings during your stay, than say, at a hotel.

However! This is a stay tailored for
YOU and your individual tastes. You have a trusted resource to help you
out with guided tours, translation, and information on travel tips. All
from a native American s point of view. English is no problem here.
Or if you have it all planned out, just come and stay in a comfortable
oasis.
Since there is so much more of a personal touch,
many times it is possible to be highly specialized, like
doing my best to accommodate a certain diet
. Or discussing with you about your upcoming trip, finding out
what you're interested in, and e-mailing you in advance a suggested
itinerary. Come
back often to Casa Holanda and eventually I'll get to know
you enough to probably be able to second-guess your needs.
But wait! There's more.
Depending on circumstances there are many perks like
FREE access to laundry facilities,
FREE garage space for your rental, FREE
transportation to and from Heredia and San Jose area tourist sites,
FREE wireless Internet access,
unlimited cups of Costa
Rican superb coffee, the balcony, classical piano concerts, refrigerator
space for the ice cream containing many of the exotic fruits in Costa
Rica!
Wow! Relax! Cause you re with your friends
here.
